Winner, winner, chicken dinner...

Got this in a Christmas card today.  Realized it was fake right after the shock of seeing 3 large matching numbers quickly wore off.
Through I do have to wonder...how often people fall hard for these thinga and do suddenly drastic things? (ie walk off a dayjob.)

$10k would of been nice though....

Dyi project; Steadicam

Next year, I plan to do a little more video work.  After taking some test clips, I decided I needed to build a Steadicam for better results.

This is the mock up so far, I think I'm about half way through.

I'll post more on it later...need sleep.

Thanksgiving At Sojourners...

Every year, for the past 20+ years, the New Castle Jaycees have woken up at 6 in the morning on Thanksgiving to cook a traditional thanks giving meal for the residents of Sojourners house.
